Leif had a little set-back around midnight last night... he had fluid
gathering in his lungs... they wanted him to cough to move the fluid out of there... and get more air in... but he just couldn't cough... he's in too much pain... he has incisions on both sides where the chest tubes are... plus the one in his chest/abdomin area where they removed the tumor... so they put him back on a ventillator... and he'll be on it for a few days... he'll be unconscious... and unaware of pain for a while... which is a blessing... but he'll be in ICU a while longer than expected...
The biopsy report came back today. It is stage 3 metastatic carcinoma. Follow-up care will be done with an oncologist.
